The Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled CNC & Manual Machinist to join our Engineering team in Greenford, London. This is your chance to break away from mass production and dive into the world of bespoke manufacturing in a pre-production setting within the entertainment industry.

In this hands-on role, you'll be part of a close-knit engineering team in our workshop, crafting one-off parts and small-volume components for our prestigious clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Manufacture bespoke parts and one-off creations for our clients.
  • Utilising your expertise in CNC and manual machining as well as your skills with hand tools and bench fitting for precise finishing.
  • Operate and optimise CNC mills and lathes, ensuring exceptional precision.
  • Troubleshoot and refine programs to achieve the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with the small engineering team in our workshop environment.
Who you are:
  • A highly experienced and multi-skilled Engineer with a recognised qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience with manual machining and utilising hand tools (e.g., files, scrapers, calipers).
  • Demonstratable understanding of programming and operating CNC machinery, ideally with Hurco Mills & Lathes.
  • An expert at interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is a plus.

  • Ability to work and maintain effectiveness under pressure, within tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Thorough, outstanding follow through and attention to detail. Highly organised and able to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to resolve queries and problems to best of knowledge before escalating up to next level, ensuring minimum occurrence of errors and provide workable solutions.
